what do you think....(page 149)

question 3

Yes, i think this story is trying to teach a lesson about the power of subconscious of mind.
While most of us are aware that we have something called a subconscious mind within us, there are very few of us who know much more than that about it, let alone how to harness it. This is unfortunate, for your subconscious mind can and should be a great ally in achieving success in your life.  All you need do is to establish a working relationship with your subconscious mind. In order to do this, one must become conscious and familiar with this hidden, mysterious aspect of ourselves, and the role it plays in our life.

One of the ways we can do this is by affirming to ourselves for several minutes each day, “My subconscious mind is my partner in success.” By doing this we are re-educating ourselves as to the fact that we possess a second powerful mind, and that it is our partner in success. Becoming conscious of our subconscious, and moving beyond thinking of it as some abstract concept or figment of our imagination is an important step.

The second step is to be aware of how our conscious and subconscious minds work together, to learn the functions and roles of each. The subconscious has two main functions in our life. The first function is to attract to us conditions and circumstances according to the predominant thought patterns that reside within it. My reoccurring mantra is, “What you focus on you attract.” Now with this new subconscious information, you can begin to understand why this is true. Your subconscious mind is not limited in any way and will forever attract to you according to your thoughts. It has no volition of its own and will simply act upon what resides and vibrates within.

Further to this, your subconscious mind will act upon any request or instruction you give it. Any thought that is repeated over and over again will take an imprint within the subconscious, which cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. This is why visualizations, affirmations and repeated images can have such a powerful effect in our life. By doing these exercises we are creating images within ourselves which the subconscious then acts upon.

Our conscious mind is the guardian to the gates of the subconscious. It is the conscious mind’s role to make sure that only the highest quality thoughts gain entrance to the subconscious. When we fully understand that whatever thoughts and beliefs gain entrance to the subconscious will eventually manifest in our life, we become very diligent in monitoring and directing our thoughts.

you're something beautiful
a contradiction
I wanna play the game
I want the friction

you will be the death of me
you will be the death of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out

I wanted freedom
bound and restricted
I tried to give you up
but I'm addicted

now that you know I'm trapped sense of elation
you'd never dream of
breaking this fixation

you will squeeze the life out of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
our time is running out
you can't push it underground
you can't stop it screaming out
how did it come to this?

Kelantanese everyware

i go back to Nilai from my hometown in two november night. it started at the first stage of the journey..when i rising the train, and get my coach, there was a guy ask me. he said, "be, sampa mano doh nie?"..i was like, erm..ok nevermind..the variety of people here. so i get my seat and taking an uncomfortable sleep because it was a lot of light there. after that, i arrived at KL Sentral around 6 o'clock morning and i rushing to buy a komuter ticket. i prefer to use machine than human because the ticket caunter doesn't open yet. suddenly, when i was Q at behind the spouse. at that time, i heard the spouse was talking with kelantanese dialect. i said from the deep of my heart, "ya allah, kelantanese again.."but i just keep silent and wait until my turn. after receiving my ticket, a wait the komuter which lated about 15 minutes. suddenly, while inside in the komuter,i saw a very smart man from the next coach came and seated in front of me. at the first sight, we can say that he is a KL's people. but don't judge a book by it's cover. after taking his seat, he make a call..guess what? he speak kelantanese dialect. although it is not very hardly, but the dialect is still clear. i was thinking at that time start from the train or nkown as KTM intercity until KTM komuter, i facing kelantanese people..why so coincidence today?..as a conclusion, it is a true things that it is a fact that kelantanese is every ware in every single part of Malaysia..not only in the university, but it is every ware. i was wondering how can they go or migrate into another country although their country is far in east coast of Malaysia. they shall to across the titiwangsa ways or across the long journey in Terengganu. any one who have the answers?

What Do You Think...(page 134)

A. (Question 2)

Mad Anthony give reasons to support his opinion that the throwaway society is a good thing. Do you think these are good reasons? why or why not?

I don't think throwaway society is a good thing. first you are wasting valuable resources that are difficult if not impossible to replace. Resources are being used in a way that is not sustainable. Second you are creating a disposal problem. There is not enough room in landfills. Third you are generating more pollution in the manufacturing of these products and in the litter that accumulates and the last but not least is consumers are constantly spending money on low quality, temporary products that will be soon be thrown away.

so like if you throw away stuff, you like have more trash and stuff. you also like have to use more of them there recources to make more stuff to replace the stuff you threw away. just think of what the cows are sacrifacing for you to throw away the extra hamburger you didn't want, but bought anyway.

What Do You Think? (page 114)

B) Question 2

How do you think self service technology could be improved so that people   don't get frustrated?

(by virtue of private sector)

More companies are using technology to handle customer service in an efficient and cost-effective way. Here's how can we enhance self service technology in order to avoid people don't get frustrated.

There's no denying the fact that customer service is important to a small or mid-sized business. The quality of that service will either enhance or degrade customer loyalty to our brand and business. With the economy in recession, customers have more alternatives than ever. The business that proves to be responsive to customer questions, complaints, or other needs can gain a clear competitive advantage. That's why it's so important to understand how new technologies can help to anticipate customer needs, tailor business processes to best serve customers, and ultimately improve the efficiency of your business.

Giving Customers What They Want, When They Want It
The goal of your business in terms of its customer interactions is the generate loyalty. There's no better way to do that than to offer quality products and services and to be responsive to your customers. But as new technologies have come to market to make it easier for businesses to provide customer service, they may also be increasing the number of channels through which you interact with customers and the complexity of those interactions. Accenture, the technology consulting firm, suggests that businesses that want to use technology to raise the quality of their customer service focus on the following:
  • Data management and analytics. Using data collected from customer to analyze their preferences.
  • Insight-driven marketing. Gaining insights into your business from customer data so you can more effectively target marketing.
  • Marketing automation. Streamlining and automating business processes to improve efficiency and keep costs low.
  • Self-service optimization. Finding ways for customers to interact with your business when they want.

Some Enhancement That Can We Do:

  • Kiosks / Self-Service
Self-service technology can enhance the customer experience, but proper integration is pivotal. Learn from real-world examples about how smartly deployed technology can unify the shopping experience while adding new customer touchpoints.
  • Payments
It's all about the money, and retailers that make it easy for their customers to pay for products and services increase their chances of making the sale. Payment technology is constantly evolving, too, meaning that retailers need to keep both themselves and their in-store systems up-to-date.
  • Self-Checkout
Why have an employee check out one customer, when they can be helping four at once? Self-check-out is rapidly winning over customers, and saving tons of money in the process.
  • Technology
The modern retail store is a high-tech place, even if the products it carries are decidedly low-tech. From inventory management to point-of-sale to digital merchandising, the technology behind the retail experience can be incredibly complex. Use this research center as a quick way to keep up-to-date with what is new and exciting in retail technology.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE 100% HONEST IN RELATIONSHIP?

Humans are not particularly honest creatures. We pretend we are, but really in the end, when we pile up all the individual little “I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings”. Is this a bad thing? Is being honest with your spouse 100% of the time a really good idea? Aren’t there times when we shouldn’t spill our guts, not even to our spouse? Or should we pride ourselves on being completely honest all the time no matter what? Unfortunately, honesty isn’t as black and white of a topic as it should be.

For me, we can't be 100% honest in our relationship regardless with somebody else. in order to save the situation or avoiding from breaking someone's feeling, we can just tell them the fake story or maybe zip our mouth.

Maybe other peoples can tell their parents the real story or real situation of themselves in any matter but not me. For example, my mother call me and asking my budget. it is normal thing which a mother will do. The question is what should we answer that kind of questions?. For me, it better to tell her that i have enough money although it is a vice versa. This is because i think about my other siblings. Despite, i prefer to be suffer from happily use my parent's money.i have other brothers and sister which need to use more money than me.

Honesty can be a complicated subject. Honesty is in fact of a healthy relationship, and for most topics it is vital that honesty is laid out on the table. Sucking down your husband’s first attempt at cooking dinner isn’t necessarily a bad lie, but then again you’re probably going to have to suck it down again the next time he tries to be sweet.

Thus,it is possible to be truly honest in relationship since we are normal layman. The only person who never lie during his lifetime is the prophet Muhammad s.a.w which receive the title of "al-Amin" means the honest.

mouth ulser

i  got mouth ulser about one week ago.it's very painful..it's very difficult and hard to communicate with someone else..my mouth just keep in lock in all day about a week..drink a lot of water can reduce it but it very painful when the water touch the white circle called ulser.

Mouth ulcers are small painful sores that form in the mouth. The most common type are called aphthous or simple ulcers.Mouth ulcers are painful round or oval sores that form in the mouth, often on the inside of the cheeks.
Although mouth ulcers can be uncomfortable, especially when you eat, drink or brush your teeth, they are harmless.
Most mouth ulcers clear up by themselves within a couple of weeks. You only need to see a doctor if the ulcer gets worse or lasts for longer than three weeks.

Self-help tips

If you have a mild mouth ulcer, there are some steps you can take yourself to help your ulcer to heal more quickly:
  • Use a soft toothbrush when brushing your teeth.
  • Avoid eating hard foods, such as toast, and stick to soft foods that are easier to chew.
  • Avoid eating foods that have triggered an ulcer in the past.
  • Reduce your stress levels by doing an activity that you find relaxing, such as yoga, meditation or exercise.
If your ulcer has a specific cause, such as a sharp tooth cutting the inside of your cheek, it will usually heal naturally once the cause has been treated. If you suspect that a sharp tooth has caused an ulcer, visit your dentist so that they can repair it.

WHAT COLOUR YOU ARE?

Orange is Awesome...

Orange is a power color. It is one of the healing colors. It is said to increase the craving for food. It also stimulates enthusiasm and creativity. Orange means vitality with endurance. People who like orange are usually thoughtful and sincere. Lady luck's color is orange.

The color orange radiates warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow.

Orange offers emotional strength in difficult times. It helps us to bounce back from disappointments and despair, assisting in recovery from grief.

To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Nevertheless, orange is not as aggressive as red. It also increases oxygen supply to the brain. Orange has very high visibility, so you can use it to catch attention and highlight the most important elements of your design.

Actually i have no specific color which can describe me. However, i extremely prefer orange as my meaningful color. This is because i am the stiff dutch football supporter.  The one who had impressed me is Roben Van Persie. His goals was never disappointed me as his supporter.

I think it's true that people choose to listen to the same music as their peers. the reason is they wont seem to be left behind. It's just like a trend. If the new song arrive and become a hit, so the song will played in every ware and they wont miss that song and want to share or copy from their peers who had get the song early.

Social network: The easier way to communicate with others.

Question 2: Do you think that social networking sites are good way to communicate with friends? why or why not?

Absolutely. Since technology is advancing with time, that brings new online features that the world will get accustomed to by testing them out as they come. Lately, every part of a person’s life seems like it’s getting more and more hectic by the minute. That being said, whether you have to attend a meeting for work, join an online discussion for your class, or you just want to speak to a friend, there are different situations that might not allow you to meet face to face with the individual. For example, you might live in a different geographic location and let’s be honest the transport fees is expensive, or you just don’t have the time to actually schedule a place to meet. The most convenient way to be able to communicate with a person is through social network. Social networking is popular because not only is it more convenient for both parties but you could communicate from any location that has internet access. Some examples of popular social network websites are Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. The only disadvantage of this type of communication is that not everyone is computer literate. Those individuals communicate the old fashioned way.

mahasiswa.

Ini kerana program terdiri daripada tiga jenis. Pertama, ialah “aktiviti”. Ada organisasi
mahasiwa hanya melaksanakan aktiviti.

matlamat tertentu. Bakti begini perlu perancangan, pelaksanaan, pemantauan dan penilaian
lebih sistematik serta meninggalkan kesan yang lebih.

Dan ketiga, ialah “advokasi”. Ada organisasi mahasiswa menjalankan advokasi, iaitu
proses pembuatan atau mempengaruhi pembuatan keputusan. Ia dilakukan melalui
memorandum, perundingan, melobi dan sebagainya. Ada masanya ia melibatkan proses
mempengaruhi pandangan khalayak seperti melalui kenyataan akhbar, seminar, perhimpunan,

melakukan kesalahan, maka diperbetulkanlah, bukannya dihukum. Apabila tidak boleh
diperbetulkan, maka barulah dihukum.

bukankah sejarah menunjukkan bahawa pendirian politik mahasiswa mungkin berubah
apabila meninggalkan kampus? Jadi, apa masalahnya?

jumlahnya.

THE ADVANTAGE OF SOCIAL NETWORKING

Main idea: Low Costs

Definitely, it's cheaper to use online social networking for both personal and business use because most of it is usually free. While personal use is rather simple for anyone, the business functions are underestimated by many. In a social networking site, you can scout out potential customers and target markets with just a few clicks and keystrokes, adding a boost to your usual advertisements and promotional strategies. It lets you learn about their likes and dislikes, which is tremendous. If you want to fine tune your business, then this is the way to go, whether on a budget or not.
